You know Sarah Weeks, right? She’s the author of a bajilliondy amazing books for kids, including Pie and So B. It and Save Me a Seat. She was also my thesis advisor way back in the day, when I was a wee little MFA student studying Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults at The New School. (Fun fact: My thesis project was The Life and Crimes of Bernetta Wallflower, which eventually became my second-ever published book!)
Anyway, the point is that Sarah Weeks is a brilliant, talented writer—which is why it was so, so lovely to get this early blurb from her about A Scar Like a River!
